Lou Williams recently backed away from statements that he'll opt out of the
final year of his contract.

"At this point I just think it would be crazy for me to leave," he said.
"This is where my family is. This is my second home, outside of Atlanta. But
this is business, and once it comes time to deal with that, then we’ll get
to the table." It's quite possible he'll negotiate a new contract with the
Sixers, who can ill afford to let their lead scorer walk via free agency.
